Content and Intellectual Property Rights Policy
United States and/or state law protects certain intangible property, such as written expression, creative works, brands, etc. (“Intellectual Property” or “IP”). CANVAS CUTS may, in its discretion, allow the posting and/or submissions of certain expressive works by the owners of such works, including independent authors and contributors (“you”). By posting, uploading, submitting or otherwise contributing any materials including, without limitation, photographs and other images, text, graphics, videos, visuals, sounds, data, files, links and other materials (collectively, “Intellectually Property content” or “IP content”), and/or by otherwise visiting or utilizing canvascuts.com, you agree to the terms of this policy, as it may be amended from time to time.

Non-exclusive License of IP Content
For content that is covered by intellectual property rights, including, but not limited to photographs and other images, text, graphics, videos, visuals, sounds, data, files, links and similar expressive works (collectively, "IP content"), you specifically understand and agree as follows.

You retain ownership of the copyright in any IP content you contribute. You also retain the right to license the use of your IP content, subject to and consistent with this Policy, and any limitations herein.

You may decide to post, or may authorize CANVAS CUTS to post, IP content on the website of CANVAS CUTS and/or its affiliates (hereinafter a “Post”). With respect to any Post, you grant CANVAS CUTS a transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, in any form and through any means now known or hereafter devised, any content, including IP content, that you contribute on or in connection with CANVAS CUTS’s website ("IP License"). You understand that such use includes, but is not limited to, publication on the Internet. This limited license does not grant CANVAS CUTS the right to sell or independently distribute your IP content. If you remove any of your IP content from your account, CANVAS CUTS will make reasonable efforts to cease distribution as soon as practicable.

You may submit IP Content solely for the purpose of ordering a canvas print, or other product or service (hereinafter a “Product Submission”). With respect to any Product Submission, you grant CANVAS CUTS a transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to reproduce and create derivative works of your IP Content, in any form and through any means now known or hereafter devised, for the purpose of generating your desired product ("Limited License").

You understand and agree that CANVAS CUTS reserves the exclusive right to decide whether or not to publish any content, including any Post or other IP content contributed by you.

You understand that CANVAS CUTS cannot control third parties, and CANVAS CUTS shall not be liable or responsible for any use of your content or IP content by any third party.

Protecting Other People's Rights
We respect other people's rights, and expect you to do the same.

By contributing content, you recognize and agree that: You will not contribute content or take any action on CANVAS CUTS’s website that infringes or violates someone else's rights or otherwise violates the law.

We can remove any content or information you contribute to CANVAS CUTS for any reason, including, but not limited to, if we believe, in our sole discretion, that it violates this Policy, or if a third party claims that your contribution violates the Policy.

You will not contribute material that includes anyone's private personal information or sensitive financial information on CANVAS CUTS.

You represent and warrant that you possess all necessary legal rights to any and all IP content contributed by you, and agree to indemnify CANVAS CUTS if that is not the case, or if you or your contribution violates the terms of this policy or applicable law.

CANVAS CUTS reserves the right to verify the accuracy of your contribution, as well as the right not to verify the accuracy of your contribution.

You understand and agree that CANVAS CUTS is not, and shall not be, responsible for inaccurate, misleading, infringing or improper information or any wrongdoing contained in or associated with your contribution.

In no event shall your contribution contain any of the following types of content (the determination of which shall be made by CANVAS CUTS, in its sole discretion): obscene; hate, violence or racial or ethnic intolerance; pornographically imagery; content that violates or infringes the rights of any person or entity; content that harms, disrupts, or interferes with CANVAS CUTS, it website, assets, or services. CANVAS CUTS reserves the right not to print any supplied content stated in said paragraph.

By contributing content to or for CANVAS CUTS, you grant to CANVAS CUTS, its employees, principals, partners, vendors and/or agents, immunity from all liability arising from your contribution. You are responsible for securing permission to use any copyrighted or trademarked material, including images, video, written expression, graphics, quotations, logos, and images, within your contribution. CANVAS CUTS, its employees, principals, partners, vendors and/or and agents, therefore disclaim any and all responsibility for copyright violations, defamation, and any other form of liability arising from your contributed content or from any material linked to/from the content. You agree to indemnify and hold CANVAS CUTS, its employees, principals, partners, vendors and/or and agents harmless from any claims of copyright infringement, defamation, and/or other alleged wrongdoing in connection with your contribution.

CANVAS CUTS services contain IP content of other users. Except as provided in this Policy and/or Terms of Service, you may not copy, modify, translate, publish, broadcast, transmit, distribute, display, publicly perform, sell or use without authorization any IP content that appears on the CANVAS CUTS website.
